# Idea Explorer authentication

Public guide, manifests, catalog search and comparisons do not require authentication. See [the read-only API](https://caimeo.com/ideas/openapi.json).

Generation requires a person to sign in at https://caimeo.com/ideas/ with Google or an email verification code. The person completes this flow in their browser. Do not ask them to give an agent passwords, verification codes or cookies. Signing in preserves the current selection.

There is no delegated OAuth authorization server, public API token or automated account-registration interface. Generation uses the signed-in person's allowance; subscription checkout is a separate purchase decision. Do not automate it without their request.
